My eleven year old son had fractured his toe on his right foot, after it healed he had difficulties moving his toe. He started physical therapy at Pelham Physical and it was an amazing experience everyone is so nice and and helpful. They really took their time and worked closely with my son on his injury and help him regain movement of his toe I’m very satisfied and would recommend this place to anyone.

I came in with left ankle issues and right shoulder pain. When I finished my sessions I had no pain in either. Therapy sessions were great as the therapists there give you a variety of workouts to help with the pain in each body part. Everybody from the front desk, to the doctors and therapist were great. I was diagnosed with pelvic floor dysfunction secondary to pelvic floor hypertonia after experiencing persistent tingling in my urethra and at the tip of my penis, along with significant straining during urination. On June 9, 2024, I consulted Dr. Edward Geisler, who diagnosed me with prostatitis and recommended pelvic floor physical therapy.
I started pelvic floor rehab with John at Pelham Physical Medicine, and after several sessions, I experienced remarkable improvements. The exercises targeting the layers of my pelvic floor were incredibly effective, and now I can urinate without straining. I’ve been able to return to my daily activities without any discomfort or limitations.

When I think of medicine, it always leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Now, think of the complete opposite feeling. Pelham Physical Medicine has some of the sweetest, kindest and toughest healthcare professionals I have ever met. I was in such a bad place when I got referred to this practice. I recently underwent a high tibial-femoral osteotomy due to a right lateral collateral ligament and meniscus tear from an injury I sustained while working with the Fire Department of New York. Before the surgery, I was dealing with significant knee pain, especially when walking longer distances or lifting heavy objects. This made everyday activities and my job much more difficult. After the surgery, I needed to use bilateral crutches and a knee brace, and I was unable to fully straighten my knee. However, since starting physical therapy at Pelham Physical Medicine, I’ve seen major improvements. I’m now able to walk without assistive devices, and I’ve noticed increased stability and strength in my knee. The pain has become much more manageable, and I’m grateful for the progress I’ve made with the help of my physical therapy team.

This place was great for my physical therapy during the first 2 weeks i barely had mobility or strength in my right knee from my ACL surgery, this facility helped to bring back my flexibility and full range of mobility within a few weeks of PT. The staff are very kind and care a lot of making sure you are on track to heal properly and gain full strength and mobility and balance. The exercises were not to difficult and helped to give me enough strength to be able to stand on my once injured leg again and regain my balance. Frozen shoulder

Effective Care and Friendly Staff
I was receiving therapy for my ankle.
If I was on my feet for too long, my ankle get swallowed and I have pain. I find out that I have arthritis on my right ankle and the tendon is bothering me, the physical therapy help me out with my symptoms. Fast Recovery and Exceptional Care
I’m so glad that I found Pelham Physical Medicine, and started working with John and the rest of the staff! I came in with severe tendinitis in my hand, so severe that even breathing on my fingers was incredibly painful. As a full time fencer, this was a huge setback for me, so I searched for a PT. Everyone was lovely, helpful and supportive, and my hand made a fantastic recovery. When I arrived here, I had unbearable lower back pain, I had very little mobility, and walking or standing was very painful.

I found this site through zocdoc and have had an amazing experience for the last month and a half. Everyone is so professional. You walk in and get taken care of immediately. No long wait. I highly recommend it. The director of the PT program, Theresa, is very hands on and always around. I looked forward to coming here because of how welcoming the environment is. This place was not only helpful to my physical health but mental health as well. Eric was always there to help at the gym. He would disinfect each machine immediately after use. Gayle, the PT was awesome. A special thank you to the other PT assistants who helped provide heat therapy and kept the area spotless and COVID friendly.

I was diagnosed with a grade 2 sprain of the anterior talofibular ligament of my left ankle. With the EXCELLENT TREATMENT AND GUIDANCE, AS WELL AS SUPPORT, from all of the AMAZING STAFF, in just 1 and a half months, I am able to wear 4″ high heels again!!! I was hooked on the internet and prepared myself for the worst, meaning there was a strong chance that I would never be able to wear high heels again. THE INTERNET WAS WRONG!!! WITH THE EXTREMELY CARING GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT OF THE STAFF AT PELHAM PHYSICAL MEDICINE INC., it’s like nothing ever happened to me, I never even got injured. I’m not going to lie, there are some days that I feel a little stiff, due to the weather, but that is expected with this particular injury, however, I am thrilled with all that I have learned and experienced at this WONDERFUL PHYSICAL THERAPY FACILITY!!! They will give you homework assignments, please do them!! After all, our Therapists and Ourselves are a Team, and we must work together to achieve AMAZING RESULTS!!!
